Custom 3D-Printed LightForce Braces
Most braces use brackets built for an “average” tooth. LightForce brackets are designed for each of your teeth from your digital scan, printed in a durable ceramic, and delivered with a custom placement tray so your whole set can be bonded accurately in one appointment. Because the plan is mapped digitally first, patients often need fewer in-office adjustments, which matters when you are fitting appointments around a workday.
Complex Bite Correction Without Surgery
Some adults have been told their bite can only be fixed with jaw surgery. In appropriate cases, temporary anchorage devices (TADs) give Dr. Garlock a fixed point to move teeth that would otherwise be very hard to move, allowing non-surgical treatment for patients who would have needed surgery. Am I too old for braces or Invisalign?
No. Healthy teeth can be moved at any age, and many of our patients start treatment as adults.
Will clear aligners work for my case?
Aligners can treat most crowding, spacing, and many bite issues. For more complex cases, braces, sometimes combined with TADs, may be more predictable. Your orthodontist will recommend what fits your bite.
How often will I need appointments?
It depends on the appliance. Self-ligating and LightForce brackets are designed to reduce adjustment visits, and aligner patients typically come in less often than traditional braces patients.
